Types and shapes of corrugated cardboard

Type Cross-sectional view Thickness Use and features
A 4.5~4.8mm It is most commonly used cardboard form, has excellent buffering and absorption power, and is mainly used for product packaging or shipping.
B 2.5~2.8mm It is the next most commonly used corrugated cardboard form after A, with strong flat compressive strength and good smoothness on the surface, making it suitable for design aptitude and printing.
E 1.0~1.2mm It is the thinnest corrugated cardboard, mainly used for individual packaging or box embedding of about 3kg.
BA

7.0~8.5mm It has the best buffering and strength in the form of corrugated cardboard combined with A and B, and is mainly used for heavy product packaging and export purposes.
BB

5.0~5.5mm It is a type of corrugated cardboard that combined two B corrugated cardboard, has superior buffering and strength than A, and is mainly used for packaging heavy products.
